YAZO Privacy Policy

Effective October 9, 2026

The short version: YAZO doesn't ask for your name, email, or location, shows no ads, and doesn't track you. Your games stay on your device, except the scores you choose to post to the global leaderboard, which go through Apple's iCloud and Game Center.

This policy explains what information the YAZO app ("YAZO," "we," "us") handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the YAZO app for iPhone and iPad.

Information we don't collect

YAZO does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or location. We do not use advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking tools, and we do not sell or share your information with data brokers or advertisers.

Information stored on your device

Your games, scores, settings, and theme choices are saved on your device so the app works as expected. This information stays on your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Leaderboards and global mode

If you use the global leaderboard or competitive/ghost mode, YAZO stores your score and the game you played for that day's dice stacks in Apple's CloudKit (iCloud) so other players can see where they rank and play against your result. These records are linked to an anonymous identifier assigned by Apple's Game Center — it is specific to your device and this app and does not expose your Apple ID or email address.

If you are signed in to Game Center, your Game Center display name and a region flag (if you have set one) are also stored in these records and are visible to other players in the leaderboard. If you are not signed in to Game Center, no display name is stored and you appear as "Player."

You can hide your region flag at any time in the app's settings. You can play without posting to the leaderboard and nothing leaves your device.

CloudKit and Game Center are operated by Apple, and Apple's handling of them is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Game Center

YAZO uses Apple's Game Center for leaderboards, friend scores, and achievements. If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores are also submitted to Game Center leaderboards and your Game Center display name may be shown to your friends. Game Center is operated by Apple and covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Purchases

Premium features are purchased through the App Store. Apple processes the payment, and we never see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation that a purchase is valid so it can unlock the features you bought.

Crash reports

If you have turned on sharing with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash and diagnostic reports. We use them only to fix bugs. You can turn this off in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Children

YAZO is suitable for all ages, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, no personal information from children is collected either.
